BIOGRAPHY
Filippo Rossato’s works are inspired by the suggestions derived from the sea world, environment where the artist approches after he moves in the east Liguria.
Madrepores, corals, and depth sea are the subjects that prefers, but after a first look it’s simple to understand how reality leaves place to imagination and expression’s freedom.
The artist’s aim is shaping the material in an introspective way instead of emulating the sea forms that attract his attention in order to show his sensitivity.
Rossato’s sculptures, similar to baroque works of art – characterized by chiaroscuro contrasts and dynamic volumes – show an infinite love for color and for the material impact.
