Artist Bio: Laura Volpi, after graduating in scenography at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera decided to devote herself to gold sculpting, experimenting sculpture in a wearable dimension. She attended specialized courses at the Tam Center with Arnaldo Pomodoro and Davide De Paoli, and then studied in London at the Slade School of Fine Art. She opens her first workshop in 1993, experimenting with materials and techniques that allow her to develop new concepts of “sculptural jewel”.
“Twin Ring” is a sculptural ring made of two parts, similar but different as twins, that become two rings to be worn on two hands, or by two like-minded people.
