Guido De Zan has been investigating for some time the theme of the vase inspired by Japanese tradition. His works, with clear and thin surfaces in porcelain and stoneware, express lightness, rigor and formal purity. To this almost paper-like effect De Zan combines his graphic research of thin lines that, while thickening, give the impression of chiaroscuro typical of drawings or engravings on paper.
